MAUREEN KELLY LEADS WORKSHOP FOR ASTD
POAL principal has participants “get up and perform”
The ASTD (American Society of Training and Development) is the world’s largest organization dedicated to supporting professionals in workplace learning. At the New York City Chapter meeting in April, POAL's Maureen Kelly delivered an interactive session in which participants learned to build stronger professional relationships and have greater impact (and fun!) in their leadership roles. Entitled “Improvisation for Leaders: Creativity, Collaboration, and Choice” it was an unusual "get up and perform" workshop, in which participants learned a little improv and a lot about how the tools of the theater can expand and advance their performance as leaders and change agents.
