Performance of a Lifetime to present at fifth conference,
October 2-5 in New York City
Performance of a Lifetime will be among the presenters at Performing the World 2008 in October. The three-day conference/festival for performance activists from around the world will be the fifth gathering of PTW since it began in 2001. Taking place for the first time in New York City, PTW08 is described by its organizers as “a three-day ‘happening’ of performances, workshops, panel discussions, lectures, community tours and improvisation, bringing together artists, activists, young people, and scholars from dozens of countries, all of whom are involved in the emergence of performance as a new way of relating to, understanding, and changing the world.” For more information on the conference click here.
